Job Summary:

As the QA Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance processes for all critical projects and ensuring that the QA team consistently adheres to the highest standards. You will play a key role in mentoring team members, reviewing test cases, and ensuring thorough QA coverage for all releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing Test Cases:
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate test cases for all critical projects and tickets.
  • Perform in-depth reviews of test cases to ensure complete coverage of requirements.

QA Process Adherence:
  • Ensure all QA processes are followed rigorously throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and work with teams to implement best practices.

Team Mentorship:
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, resolving issues, and escalating problems when needed.

Process Establishment & Maintenance:
  • Establish and maintain QA processes that adhere to the highest industry standards.
  • Continuously improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Final QA Sign-Off:
  • Provide final QA sign-off for QA, BETA, and PROD releases, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth and timely release processes.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a QA Lead, QA Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong experience in manual testing.
  • Expertise in reviewing and analyzing test cases, test plans, and reports.
  • Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Knowledge of best practices in software development and QA processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, TestNG).

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
